Seattle NextGenBridge School Bridge League

Seattle NextGenBridge presents our school bridge program primarily to  Middle Schools and K-8 schools, in 6th- 8th grades. Our program features an inclusive, fun, non-judgemental approach to bridge in a safe, positive environment. The 16hr ACBL school bridge lesson series provides a great start to students, many of which have never even heard of bridge before now. SNGB/ ACBL sponsors an annual Seattle School Bridge League Tournament in May which is an opportunity for many students to earn their first master points

Bridge brings many enhanced benefits to those who learn how to play the game. It enhances children’s analytical skills and helps to improve their problem solving ability. As a unique way to foster social interaction and teamwork, bridge teaches students self-reliance and improves social skills, while building trust and confidence with a partner. They will discover how to succeed, just as they would in any sports program. There are no socioeconomic or physical  boundaries to learn bridge. You just need drive, determination and discipline. Research studies show that students who learn bridge have increased scores in math, reading, comprehension and improved short term memory retention.
